MAOZ PARTNERS' TESTIMONIALS
Here is what our partners have to say...
If you have a testimony about how this ministry and the Maoz Israel Report have impacted your life as a believer - please email us!
Thank you for the promise of a blessing... and I am blessed by the LORD because I love His chosen people! And my gift is given every month to MAOZ Brazil (where I live), with an extra gift at the end of each year... and prayers go up daily for the peace of Jerusalem!
It has been my joy to be involved with Maoz in this way since 2003 when I found one of your newsletters at my sister-in-law's house in England! Indeed the LORD has and is blessing.... praise His amazing Name! Shalom...
I agree 1 Trillion percent in everything you have said about the importance to support Israel. Also, my husband, and I love Israel with our whole heart and the Israeli people as well. We've been praying for the peace of Jerusalem for many years, since we got saved 36 years ago.
I've committed to support with $20.dollars a month, on the Maoz music youth ministry, since almost a year. We're not the typical American, living the American dream. We have, and keep living by faith, with our small finances. Our El Shaddai, has never, and ever failed us in taking care of our needs. Big Amen!!
You see, we both are deaf, and Pastor a small deaf church. This ministry has never being glamorous in paying a good salary, like most hearing Pastors get. But we give thanks, and praise God, that He has planted us to share the powerful good news to the deaf people. Amen!!!
We also pray for your ministry, and we trust with our small giving of $20 to you, and Ari.
The Lord keep blessing you both, abundantly with all his riches, and glory through our beautiful, and beloved Messiah, Yeshua! Hallelujah, and Amen!!!
Your words of gratitude make me feel so special even though my monthly offering is minimal in my eyes.
I know that when I receive your monthly newsletter, and your email communications that I am getting the correct view of what is happening there in Israel. The newspapers in the states do not give accurate and unbiased reports of what is really happening there. Thank you so much for your insight so that I can pray rightly for the needs of the Israeli people. I have been blessed the years that I have been associated with your ministry. God is certainly increasing your knowledge of how to get the word out to the world.
The enemy can not stop the work that God is doing through Maoz Israel.
Thank you again for allowing me to be a part of this vital work by upholding you in prayer.!
I want to express my thanks to Maoz Ministries for the monthly Maoz Israel Report - both the newsletter and email. As a missionary to the Jewish people in Brooklyn, NY and the Greater NY Metro Area for the last 15 years, I rely upon the straight facts of what is happening in the Eretz Israel among the believing community and in Israel society, culture and government. Maoz is indispensable for me in this regard. Every month I eagerly look forward to Shira's informed, astute and heartfelt report on current news of prophetic relevance, as well as the testimonies of how the Lord is moving in the believing community in Israel.
My wife and I - both of whom are Gentiles called to Jewish ministry - met by divine appointment in Yerushalayim in 1988. At that time Ari and Shira were leading a Messianic Congregation in Ramat HaSharon. We lived in Yerushalayim for a year, where I worked in the Baptist House. Eretz Israel is VERY close to our hearts (if we were Jewish we'd have already made aliyah; we encourage Jewish believers to do so).
What happens in Israel directly impacts us here in Brooklyn, which, as you know, is America's largest Jewish community of religious, secular and Russian Jews.
Todah rabah (thank you), Maoz, for providing us with the 'real story' of what's happening in Israel. You equip and inspire us to press on 'to the Jew first' in our ministry here in New York!

As your ministry to Israel and the Jewish people has grown I seem to have grown along with you. Over the years, because of the newsletter - and now email - my heart has grown from a limited desire to help Ari and Shira and their work in Israel into a full blown love of God's people and His land.
Who would have thought in those early years that the congregation would grow enough to need two services, that you would have an outreach to the needy people, that you would be taking on some government officials helping other Messianic Jews in legal battles, publishing books in Hebrew, using computer technology to keep us informed of prayer needs, and news of Israel we wouldn't get otherwise. You do all the work and I get immensely blessed.
With love and prayers for the peace of Jerusalem,
I am a 12 year old student in Maui and i have been getting this Newsletter for probably 8 months now, but have not had time to help yet. Now I think I am going to start trying to give some money to the needy in Israel. Its not much, but I'm sure God will provide. I love Israel and I wanted to tell you that Jesus loves you and he will always look out for you.
My testimony goes way back... 1987 or so. We were at a MJAA conference. My husband and I had been called years before to make Aliyah but didn''t have the foggiest notion about what that meant. You two took your time and sat with us and asked us many questions. You allowed us to ask all our questions and patiently answered everyone of them. You gave us godly advice and prayed a very annointed prayer over us. Our 80-year-old uncle sat in on the meeting because he wanted to see what was happening (very protective). He was remarkably impressed and was able to relax and let us 'go'. (We even have a picture that a friend took when he saw us all sitting there!) Your encouragement was exactly what we needed. We made Aliyah in 1989, stayed until 1996 and have just returned for good... I remember one thing especially that you told us, Ari, by way of a reality check... You said that how ever we live our lives in the states, whatever kind of people we are, our walking out our life in Y'shua would be the same in Israel. You warned us not to expect big changes to our life outlook or living patterns. No big miraculous change in the air on the way over. That is the gist of what you shared and I always remember that... very helpful!

I look forward to receiving the Maoz Israel Reports both by mail and email. I have a hard time throwing them away because they are so wonderful and exciting. One of these days I may have an opportunity to share them with a Jewish person. I take part in an Israeli dance class where I am the only Gentile there most of the time. I see this as a wonderful chance to witness. From time to time they ask general questions about my congregation, Ohev Y'israel. I hope one of these days I'll be able to do more. I feel like a "newby" at this, but reading the Maoz newsletters encourages me to do more.
The Bible says "I will bless those who bless you," meaning Israel. So I try to help the Jewish people when I can. I stand side by side with the apple of God's eye - Israel.
We love the Maoz Israel Report. It is always so well written and informative. It is a lifeline to both the events in Israel and to your ministry, for we are very interested in both.
We especially praise the Lord for your book priniting ministry in Hebrew, for this has aided our ministry of reaching out to Israelis who work in Myrtle Beach, S.C. and in the beaches in N.C. We appreciate your gracious help in sending us your books: Betrayed, Damkani's testimony, and Sid Roth's "They Thought For Themselves." We are so happy to have these books in Hebrew to give to these young Israelis.
We loved seeing your youth at the Messiah Conference in 2006 and meeting you. The Lord bless you in all you do for Him. We stand with you for the salvation of Israel.

Having known Shira since the early 70's, and Ari since their marriage, I am most blessed by their legacy of consistent faith. Faith is not a feeling or a belief. Faith is action. It is revealed by staying the course through time, through all manner of trials and temptations. Faith is preceded by vision, but vision does not always give birth to faith that bears fruit. That takes persistence and courage -- vision that overcomes darkness. The Maoz newsletter has allowed those of us who labor in other places to be encouraged by God's work in Israel in our days -- born through the long labor of those who refuse to give up; it allows us to participate at a more intimate level through knowledge and prayer. To Shira and Ari I say, as the Lord said to Joshua, "Be strong and of good courage; do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."
By a supernatural miracle from Adonai I began to yearn an interest in the Jewishness of Yeshua. I now understand how my upbringing in Christianity was paganized, romanized, americanized, and denominationalized. I wanted to see the pure truth of God's Word. Your ministry, especially the article on the oldest Scripts, only confirmed my deep yearning to understand the Lord through Yeshua by the Ruach Hakodesh (Holy Spirit).
Shira's book that was sent to me - "Israel's Call" - has also really enlightened me. I have been to Israel twice. I hope to go again soon and learn from a Messianic Jewish perspective. I want to speak to Messianic Jews in Israel and share my testimony on a trip to Israel.
My husband and I are fairly new to seeing the news from Israel with Maoz. We are very interested in the updated reports that you give, since our hearts are there. We have made two trips to Israel and love the people and the land. It's home. We are both graduates of Christ for the Nations - and a person can't graduate from there and not love Israel and the Jewish people.
We pray for you and all the work that is being done there and all the openings that God is allowing and doing there now.

I have been aquainted with Maoz since hearing Ari speak at Baruch Hashem Congregation while I was visiting about two years ago. I was so blessed and immediately signed up for the Maoz Newsletter. In the summer of 2006 at the Messiah Conference in Grantham, PA, I was so blessed to meet so many wonderful members of Tiferet Yeshua and hear all that God is doing in the lives of each induvidual of that congregation.
I look forward to the Newsletters as an update of what is going on there.....I have also become a prayer partner, and every Tuesday we pray for the needs that are sent in the Prayer Letter at our little prayer meeting. I feel as though God has connected us and although I may never get to visit Tiferet Yeshua, I feel very much a part of that congregation.
For the last three months, after I read your newletters, I pass them on to my dad to read. I believe that the Lord is using you and Maoz to work in his heart, for he is not yet saved. Though he is not yet saved, my dad continues to search for the truth, asking God to reveal Himself to him if He is who He says He is. The sorrows and tragedies of this world, which he takes very much to heart, has blinded him to the fact that God does exist, that He is in control, and that this is all part of His plan for humanity. But the Lord is much greater than his doubt and unbelief; I cannot wait for the day that I contact you to tell you that he has seen the truth and accepted Yeshua.
I thank G-d for you and all you do. It is an honor to know you, stand with you, pray for you, and bless you financially. I look forward to seeing you someday in Eretz Yisrael.
We enjoy receiving Dateline. It shows our GOD is alive & well. You show prophecy being fulfiled, as well as the growth of Israel. You also show how the leaders of Israel DON'T know their own scriptures, where GOD tells not to give the covenant land back. We are also glad the Messianic famliy is showing Jesus's love to reach the traditional Jews with the truth. We also share it with friends that love Israel. We realize that what goes on in Israel affects us as well.
In December of 2006, my son Christian, who was 9 years old at the time, was reading the Maoz Israel Report which talked about Burkina Faso tithing to your ministry - because they knew God would in turn bless them. Christian felt God asking him to tithe some of his birthday money, I believe it was approximately $10. A few weeks later, the bank where we have set up accounts for all our children, gave every member a dividend of at least $50, for the first time in 20 years! I knew in my heart that God was blessing Christian! He was very encouraged and he continues to read the monthly reports and we do pray for Israel on a regular basis. I am not able to tithe to your ministry on a regular basis, but when I have a surplus of money, I do send it your way. Thank you for being faithful in sending us the Maoz Israel Report. I look forward to hearing how God is moving in Israel and what we can specifically pray for.
What your ministry did for me gives me more joy than most anything in my secular life. For years I have wanted to have my little book, BLESS YOUR CHILDREN EVERYDAY made available in Hebrew. Through Moaz Israel, that became a reality in June 2007. Thank you so much for making my dream come true.
Dr. Mary Ruth S.
Every month I receive your Maoz Newsletter and e-mails with a great, great, great joy!!! For me your ministry in Israel is a great blessing for Israel and the gentiles, too. I was very touched by Motti's description of young people in Israel. For that reason I decided to dedicate our monthly service to pray for them: messianic, secular, religious, soldiers, etc. The young people of our church do all the prayers for that night.
José, one of our young members here at Centro Cristiano Shalom in PR, went to Israel in 2005. He prays very fervently because he has seen the situation there. Next August we will be celebrating our 6th anniversry of a NIGHT TO HONOR ISRAEL here at the church along with the Jewish Community of PR.

I was studying the New Testament about giving and found that there were instructions for collecting offerings to help poor, persecuted Jewish believers in Israel. I wanted to do this because it is what G*d commands in the New Testament, but I had never heard of or seen anyone take up such an offering. My son suggested your ministry, IStandWithIsrael.com . I investigated and was delighted that your ministry did exactly what the New Testament said in this regard.
I was going thru a very tough financial time that resulted in being behind in most of my bills. On top of that my brother was coming to visit from Germany, my daughter needed money for a mission trip to Australia (about $3,000 more) and my son was getting married, all within two months time! Despite this, I felt that the Holy Spirit wanted me to send a certain size gift to your ministry to help the poor, persecuted Jewish believers in Israel. So I did.
After I did, it was as if someone had flipped a switch on my finances! I had a great time with my brother, doing all of the things we wanted to do while he was here. My daughter went to Australia and came back with money that she had not needed. I was able to take care of my son's expenses for his wedding and give him the amount that I had desired to spend on his honeymoon. Also my bills got caught up to the point that I had the money in the bank for each bill before I was billed. I cannot point to anything that I did different; God just somehow caused all of these things to work out for me.
I'm so glad that you have provided a way for me to put into practice what the New Testament commands for it has lead to the blessing that the New Testament promised.
Danny R. In 1944, I was in the British merchant navy aboard an oil tanker as 3rd engineer. We were delivering oil to Tel Aviv. In those days, the Arabs and the Jews were fighting each other, until an English person arrived on the scene. Then both parties would start firing at the British person. Winston Churchill promised israel to the Jews, but Stanley Baldwin promised Palestine to the Arabs and in the British House of Commons, the Arabs won. With the help of Ha Shem, the United Nations voted and awarded the land to the Jewish nation in 1948. Ever since, I have been interested in the progress of the State of Israel - from a land of sand and rock to its present transformation of vast vegetation, reforestation and the erection of buildings. To keep up with the news of Israel is the reason I requested your newsletter. I wish you continued success in your publication and also that peace will be obtained in the land that Ha Shem promised his chosen children.
Interceding for the various ministry prayer needs is a privilege and blessing. I feel closer to our Messiah when lifting up those needs and my life is blessed beyond measure when I give and when I pray this way.
Hearing how these prayers of all of us are being answered lifts my spirit greatly, and I rejoice and give thanks!
It was clearly shown me by our Lord that I was to be a watchman on the wall 27 years ago when I became involved in Messianic ministry. Thank God for Ari and Shira's leadership and all you who are part of that leadership! There is nothing that gives me greater joy than being a prayer part of what God is doing in His beloved Eretz Israel.
Thank you MAOZ ISRAEL for the requests, information and updates.
As a Messianic believer I am thankful that through your weekly reports I can best understand and see some of the things Adonai's chosen people are still going through. I am also more convinced that being a Messianic part of the Olive tree is the best thing that has happened to me. I now understand the difference between Christianity and Messianic Faith, and I cannot and will not stop giving thanks to Yeshua for all that He has done and is still doing in my life. My prayer is that Adonai will continue to strengthen Israel to withstand the trials and tribulations that must be endured during these times.
