About Us - What We Are Doing:

istandwithisrael.com is a benevolence arm of Maoz Israel Ministries — launched in 2003 to help the hurting of Israel—terror victims, widows, orphans, those economically depressed as a result of the terrorist bombings, with emphasis to help believers in Israel who are in dire straits.

All applicants for istandwithisrael.com funds must be a member of a congregation in Israel and have an endorsement from his/her pastor.  Although we do give substantially to the poor and desperate, we also look for ways to send the unemployed to courses for skills or to learn the Hebrew language (immigrants) so these people can have the opportunity to earn a decent living and become a member of the Body of Messiah that can bless others.

In doing so, we are having an impact on the economic wellbeing of a growing number of Israeli believers across the country.  For instance, we have helped several families open up small businesses, and contributed substantially to a number of believers who need a car or van for their work or their ministry.

All applications, after being looked over by ourselves, and after getting sufficient information from the pastor, are then sent to our entire Maoz board for approval and recommendations.  Only then do we distribute the funds.

Plan proposed and incorporated by Maoz Board to disburse istandwithisrael funds to individuals:

Forms must be submitted as an application.  The opportunity to apply for these funds is sent email to the MCLN—an online network of Messianic Leaders and Pastors in Israel, of whom we have strong relationships with.  Applications are filled out by the LEADERS of the congregations, sharing the details of the person in need, and recommending them as a viable recipient.

As applications are submitted, the basic facts/summary of the applications are sent to all Maoz board members by email for consideration.  Disbursements of up to $2,000 must be approved by no less than three board members.  Disbursements over $2,000 must be approved by a minimum of four board members, or a majority of the board.
